In different application fields and environments, LED display installation methods are also different. This issue mainly introduces seven common installation methods of wall-mounted design, floor-standing design, embedded design, upright design, column, hoisting design and F cantilever/truss. As shown in the figure:


1. Wall-mounted design

1) This installation method can be used indoors and outdoors.

2) It is applicable to shopping malls, stadiums, lecture halls, venues, conference rooms and other places.

3) Indoor screen generally doesn’t reserve space for maintenance. It often adopts small spacing and front maintenance design. The screen is thin and takes up little space; however, for some lecture halls and other places where large-area screens are used, rear maintenance design can also be used to reserve enough space for maintenance behind the screen to facilitate heat dissipation and maintenance of the screen.

4) Outdoor screen generally adopts rear maintenance design. Because the outdoor screen has high brightness and heat, and the outdoor temperature is higher than indoors, sufficient space must be reserved behind the screen for maintenance, which is easy to maintain and can be placed with heat dissipation equipment.


1. Floor-standing design

1) This installation method can be used indoors and outdoors.

2) It is applicable to shopping malls, building halls, lecture halls, venues and other places.

3) Indoor screen generally adopts front maintenance design, which can be used for light-weight bricks or large-area walls that cannot withstand the force. The installation of LED screens needs to be supported by the ground and the wall.


1. Embedded design

1) This installation method can be used indoors and outdoors. Normally, the entire LED screen is embedded in the wall, and the display screen is on the same horizontal plane as the wall. If the space reserved for the installation is not enough, the screen can adopt protruding installation, and then be decorated with a frame around it to make it flush with the screen.

2) It is suitable for places with high requirements for viewing effects or small spaces such as building entrances, building halls, lecture halls, small theaters, subway stations, etc.

3) Indoor screen generally adopts front maintenance design.

4) Outdoor screen generally adopts rear maintenance design, but sufficient space must be reserved on the back of the screen for maintenance.


1. Upright design

1) This installation method is generally used indoors, and can be used where the wall cannot bear the weight or where there is no wall to install the screen. It is installed under the force of the bottom and top.

2) It is suitable for shopping malls, building halls, lecture halls, venues, theaters and other places.

3) The screen generally adopts front maintenance design. For some large-area screens or special installation positions, rear maintenance cabinets can be used, and sufficient space must be reserved behind the screen for maintenance.

2) It is suitable for outdoor billboards or information display boards in highways, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, venues and other places.

3) The screen generally adopts closed maintenance channel, which is waterproof, and rear maintenance design.

2) It is applicable to stadiums, airports, stations and other places.

3) The screen generally adopts front maintenance design. Before hoisting, it is necessary to confirm that the top structure or wall can bear the weight of the screen.


1. F cantilever/truss

1) This installation method is often used outdoors.

2) It is suitable for traffic guidance or media releases in places such as traffic roads, high-speed roads, and railways.

3) The screen generally adopts closed maintenance channel, and rear maintenance design. Sufficient space must be reserved behind the screen for maintenance. Sometimes the installation location has certain restrictions on the time of transportation and construction, so that the construction cost is relatively high.

➤Material selection (lamp beads, connectors, driver IC, PCB circuit board)


①Select domestic lamp beads of National Star and Kinglight. The lamp bead damage rate is less than one in ten thousand and the light decay rate is low. The color will not change much in two or three years, and the lifespan is about 10W hours;

②The connectors of the wick are all gold-plated on the surface to prevent poor contact caused by oxidation; all supporting strong and weak current wires are international pure copper materials.


➤Cabinet design


①Adopt die-cast aluminum design with independent property rights. The accuracy and flatness of the cabinet are 0.15mm, and the spacing accuracy below P1.25 is within 0.08mm;

②The flatness of the cabinet is visualized. The tilt angle is intelligently displayed, and the level and verticality of the cabinet are displayed in real time;

③Wireless connection: Hard plug connection and wireless connection is adopted between the cabinets. The interior is clean and tidy, and there is no cross-wire between the external cabinets;

④Universal cabinet design; one cabinet is suitable for modules with different spacing. Without replacing the cabinet, subsequent product upgrades just need to replace the module. The cabinet can be recycled.
