Background of the project

The West Campus of Binzhou Experimental School in Shandong was formally put into use in September 2017. The school adheres to the school-running concept of “creating education suitable for student development and laying a foundation for students’ happiness throughout their lives” , carries forward the spirit of experimental school “exploration, innovation, dedication, and collaboration”and school motto of "Self-cultivation for goodness and learning”,strives to create a humanistic, harmonious and intelligent school.

Customer needs & solutions

To promote education informatization and build first-class teaching facilities for students and teachers, ITC designed a digital IP Network PA system for the West Campus of Binzhou Experimental School in Shandong.

The entire design of school PA system meets the following features:

School Broadcasting Room: The core of the IP network PA system, which implements functions such as regular ringing, background music, English listening test,two-way intercom and remote call with IP network broadcasting terminals, and can also monitor the content broadcasted by the system.

Classroom area: In the core area of the school, to set up IP network system terminal in each classroom, remote operation and play network courseware can be achieved the functions such as quick positioning and repetition, speed change, and other language labs etc.

Listening backup: campus multimedia hanging terminal with analog backup system interface, when the campus network breaks down or communication breaks down, it can automatically switch to the analog backup line to ensure the normal operation of the listening test.

Broadcasting announcement: the leadership office can carry out the broadcast intercom or speech by setting control broadcast room center broadcast, realize the leadership remote broadcast notice and so on function

Campus radio station: for students to listen to campus radio in their leisure time, to learn more about campus information and enrich students' campus life.

Emergency broadcast: When emergency accident happens, it can play the emergency broadcast information in time, and other functions of the public broadcasting system (background music, general radio, etc.) will be suspended, rapid  to evacuate the crowd, guide the evacuation direction; Until the emergency broadcasting status is lifted.

Sub-control management: managers and leaders no need to go to the computer room, they can sit in office to log in to the broadcast system management to play music, notification, and management;

Webcasting: The external audio (CD, radio, microphone, etc.) signal access to the production workstation is compressed into a high-quality sound stream in real time. Broadcast data is sent through the campus network and transmitted to different classrooms and campuses for broadcasting.

Leader online speech (live broadcast): The system supports online speeches from leaders at all levels. Leaders do not need to go to a dedicated broadcast center. They can use microphones to remotely access the school or any grade, class, or teacher’s office within the scope of their authority. Paging, meetings, lectures, etc.
